Welding Technology
This program is designed to prepare students for positions as shielded arc, flux core or MIG and TIG welders in research laboratories, in structural fabrication shops or in general welding shops. Completion of the certificate/AS degree requirements prepares students to take the welding certification tests.
Welders are found in traditional manufacturing environments as well as engineering, construction and equipment repair.
