Graduation 2008
The 2008 Graduation
Ceremony Date:
- Friday, May 30.
- NOTE: Due to growth of the college, this year's ceremony will be held at an indoor venue and there will be limited seating.
- Graduation Packets will be mailed by the end of April.
Time
- Graduate Check In: Student Center between 3-3:30 p.m. Come dressed in cap & gown!
- Rehearsal starts promptly at 4 p.m.
- Ceremony: starts promptly at 6 p.m.. Rain or Shine!
- Ceremony will be approximately 90 minutes.
Location
- LPC PE Complex - Gymnasium
- All electronic devices (e.g., cell phones, pagers) are to be turned off. Please do not bring them to the commencement ceremony.
Tickets
All graduates will be required to return their Graduation RSVP starting May 12. Tickets will be distributed at that time. More information to follow!
Note: Guests with graduation tickets will be allowed into the gym up to 6:15 p.m. After this time, guests will be directed to the live feed area (Room 2420).
Petition to Graduate Form
- AA-AS_CertReq2 [this form is posted on the College Web Page Under "Apply & Enroll" click "Admissions Forms."
- If you are transferring, please double check with a Counselor on required forms that a four-year institution will require (e.g., IGETC, GE Certificate).
- MOVED? If you have moved, please notify Admission & Records in order to update your student record and receive important college information.
All Summer or Fall 2007 graduates and Spring 2008 candidates, who have submitted a Petition to Graduate form, will be notified by the Student Record Evaluator in April about graduation. A formal graduation packet will be mailed with a response card.
